Meet the Fouder

Pamela Meredith Hamilton, MAMF, CEAP, QMHP, is an Author and Psychological Safety Strategist, helping individuals and teams navigate complex human experiences. She holds an undergraduate degree in Organizational Leadership, a graduate degree in Human Services, and is on track to complete her Leadership Certificate from the University of Virginia in April 2025.

Pamela is the author of Second Hand Smoke, a reflective memoir on the effects of generational trauma. The book explores how trauma quietly travels through families—and the courage it takes to interrupt what we inherit.

A seasoned educator and facilitator, Pamela brings depth and clarity to conversations around belonging, leadership, and emotional well-being. She is a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor, a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). Her work integrates trauma-informed practice, psychological safety principles, and human-centered leadership development.

Pamela has delivered impactful trainings and presentations across numerous UVA departments—including the UVA Nurses Summit—as well as for the International Association of Employee Assistance Professionals in Education (IAEAPE), the Women’s Business Bureau of Charlottesville, and the Black Faculty and Staff Resource Groups. Her story connected to Second Hand Smoke was also featured in Convene Magazine through the Dear World storytelling initiative at PCMA’s Education Conference.

Her leadership, service, and commitment to well-being have been recognized through multiple honors, including the Building Bridges Award, the Maryland Governor’s Award for Service, and Butler University’s Excellence in Faculty/Staff Well-Being Support Award.

Whether she is working with leaders, teams, or individuals, Pamela’s approach is grounded, relational, and deeply human. Her work centers dignity, courage, and connection—because transformation begins with people feeling safe enough to be seen.
